DR. YOSHIHIDE SAKURAI

Dr. Yoshihide Sakurai is Professor of Sociology at the Graduate School of Letters, Hokkaido University, in Sapporo, Japan. He obtained his Ph.D in Development Studies of Thailand at Hokkaido University and published the book Regional Development in Northeast Thailand and the Formation of Civil Society (Khon Kaen University Press, 2003). He has also published many books on contemporary religions in Japan.
