Maha Agha Kalsoum
About:
Maha is a PhD student in Islamic Studies at the Religious studies department at UCSB since Sept. 2022. Maha is currently investigating Islamic legal changes that happened in modern times in the areas of family law, which includes laws on inheritance, marriage, divorce, and custody. She has an MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago where she focused on women in Islam.
