p7474: Now there are nine pictures we were able to take of papermaking. Foolishly I cannot come up with the name of the village. We were going out one day to Taring where a charming couple named Taring had asked us for lunch so this papermaking was between Gyangtse and Taring. The first process of papermaking the bales of Mulberry fiber are soaked in the water until they begin to rot, and they must be turned constantly so none ever gets dry.
