How Do You Love?

Our work concerns the relationship between religion, gender and intimate life both in Christian-majority societies in the West and Muslim-majority societies in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as South Asia (henceforth MENASA) . We believe that people's intimate lives are not only a highly sensitive site in which to understand the changing course of gender relations, but are also consequential for the political and religious futures of the countries in which these young people live. Employing the same social networking sites that millions of young people are using to connect to the world and each other, LMR (Love, Marriage and Religion) is conducting survey research on the intimate lives of young people.
